Unlock your phone
Open the App Store
Search for the forjo app and click "Get"
Check if the free Apple app "Shortcuts" is installed on your phone
Only if "Shortcuts" app is not installed: please search and install it from the App Store
If the "Shortcuts" app is installed, please start the forjo app
The forjo app asks if it may send you notifications. Please press "Allow".
After the forjo app has started (and is on the configuration page ), click on the "Install shortcut here" field: or here.
The shortcut "ForJoStart" will appear. Click on the "Add Shortcut" button and allow it.
Stay in the Shortcuts app and please click on the "Automation" command at the bottom of the page.
On the following "Automation" page, click the "Create Personal Automation" button -
if there are already automations, create a new one by clicking on the PLUS sign in the upper right corner.
Then, you need to scroll down on the page until you reach the "App" button, please click on it.
From the list of already installed apps, choose those for which you want to apply forjo.
Our suggestion: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Photos, Spotify, Apple Music, Minecraft, Fortnite, Twitter, GarageBand, BeReal...
basically all game apps that capture your attention, except for Phone, WhatsApp, Messages, Browser.
After selecting all the apps for which forjo should apply, please go and click on the "Done" button at the top right of the page.
Afterwards, please click on the "Next" button again at the top right of the page.
Then, on the next page called "Actions," click on the "Add Actions" button.
Please click on the "Scripts" button.
Then, scroll down to the "Run shortcut" button on the "Scripts" page.
Next, please click on the blue-highlighted "Shortcut" field. Important - please do NOT press "Run",
just click on the blue-highlighted "Shortcut" field
In the resulting "Run shortcut" list, please click on the "ForJoStart" button.
Then, please click on the "Next" button at the top of the page.
On the following page "New Automation", please turn off the button "Confirm before running"
(Slide it so that the field is not highlighted in green).
When asked "Do not confirm before running", please click "Do not confirm"
Then click "Done" at the top of the page.
All apps can now be closed. forjo is now ready.
